Paris accelerator LeCamping has opened up applications to the fifth season of its no-equity accelerator. Run by Silicon Sentier, applications to the program are due by September 25th, with the program starting on November 15th in the new Silicon Sentier space, which recently crowdfunded 70K€ of the 1M€+ budget for the newly renovated space.
Paris’ oldest startup accelerator, LeCamping counts nearly 50 startups as alumni, among them Pricing Assistant & Qunb, who won the last two LeWeb startup competitios in London & Paris, respectively. In addition, the accelerator has seen startups like Sketchfab and DocTrackr, go on to US accelerator programs like TechStars NY & Boston, respectively. The association receives funding from a variety of public & private sources, among them BNP Paribas, Google, SNCF & Orange.
This past season’s alumni have included Smiirl, which launched its physical Facebook counter fliike earlier this year, as well as Forgetbox (from Season 3), who’s kickstarter campaign has long-since passed its 70K€ marker and is nearing 1M€ as we speak.
Applications to the program are available on F6S, and the selection process will trim down the expected hundreds of candidates to just 12 teams for the Fall.
