For over 10 years, the IdeaLab!, which is Europe’s largest student led founders’ conference, has served as a key forum for the exchange of experiences and idea for top tech entrepreneurs from around the globe. Each year the organizers strive to create a ‘unique and uncomplicated’ environment for participants to share, learn, and connect with other experienced entrepreneurs, students, young founders and investors to, ultimately, go beyond conventional ‘business card networking’. This year’s edition is set for October 11th/12th and will take place at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar (near Frankfurt, Germany).
While many conferences are looking to attract tech founders, the IdeaLab! sets itself apart as its entire spirit and structure is, in many ways, tailored to entrepreneurs. First of all, the program, which focuses on inspiring talks and hands-on workshops, offers practical, real advice for founders. This year’s edition will see some various well-known tech leaders including Oliver Samwer, Aaron Grant (Thalmic Labs founder),, U.S. producer Ryan Leslie, Israel’s VC legend Jon Medved, and many more. The conference will also welcome this year the “Startup Battle of the Cities” whereby startups from different hotspots will pitch themselves as well as their city in front of a panel of top-notch, global investors.
As the organizers want to make sure that cost doesn’t prohibit startup founders from attending, they offer a flight subsidy depending on where you’d be coming from for those coming outside of Germany. They’ve also got great rates, including 69€ for students and 149€ for founders, so if you’re interested in attending, you can register here.
We’ve also got two free tickets which we, of course, will give away to you. So, if you’d like to win one, like the embedded Facebook status just above.
