For the fourth consecutive year, the Webgame conference will host leaders from the global gaming world here in Paris. Organized again this year by SNJV and taking place at Microsoft France’s campus, the length of the conference has been expanded this year to 2 days, offering more lectures, panels and networking panels than in previous editions.
This year’s program puts the spotlight on many of the biggest success stories in online, social and mobile gaming including:
- Jaako Iisalo, Creative Director for Rovio who will discuss how Angry Birds became such a colassal hit
- Mathieu Nouzareth, founder of Fresh Planet who will elaborate on the big success of their hot social game Song Pop
- Kai Bolik, founder and CEO of GameDuell who along with Purple Brain founder Jonathan Ferrebeuf and Jean-Vincent Chardon from Tapjoy will tackle “How to fuel your customer acquisition engine”
- Bastien Cazenave and Corentin Raux, founders of Pretty Simple Games who will explain how they designed their hit casual game Criminal Case for virality and retention
In addition to offering inspiration to game entrepreneurs via success stories, some other key themes that the speakers will address include new models in game financing, monetization, player retention, as well as other key aspects of game production including how to succeed with your 2nd game, cross-platform diffusion and self-publishing.
Tickets are still available here and are pretty reasonable price for a 2-day conference at 175€. Also, as a media partner again for this year’s edition, the organizers have kindly given us 2 free tickets which we, of course, will share with you. So if you want one, like this article on Facebook.
