Learning and talent management leader Skillsoft buys Vodeclic

Skillsoft, a global leader in learning and talent management have announced that they’ve just bought Vodeclic, a leading provider of next generation video tutorials via a purpose-built and easy-to-navigate cloud-based platform.  The terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Vodeclic offers content in 6 different languages and their platform is offers a variety of innovative features, including:

  • Interactive assessments that validate knowledge retention
  • Hyper-personalized dashboard that displays ongoing visual analytics on the learner’s progress
  • Social Learning features including badges and certificate of completion

Adding Vodeclic’s content to their portfolio will enable Skillsoft to broaden the diversity of training and, via Vodeclic’s platform, reinforce the functionality and support of their training solution fo clients. Vodeclic’s solution will also be enhanced as will integrate Skillsoft’s expertise in  instructional design and include assessments that will provide insights into each learner’s skill gaps and offer suggestions on areas of development.
