Each year, the television industry’s top conference, MIPTV, holds a top competition called MIPLAB (previously known as MIPCube LAB) which puts the spotlight on the best and brightest startups in the sector. Winners will pitch at MIPTV’s tech and innovation track called MIP Digital Fronts in front of a jury of key industry players from Yahoo, Canal+, RTE Digital and more.
Winning MIPLAB can help startups gain more traction in an industry which is notoriously difficult to crack.  Last year’s winner French startup TVTY has been a solid success thus far, going on to raise $4.5 million following their big win and has been actively expanding in the US.
