Game Connection has just announced that, for the first time, they will offer French startups reduced rate pricing for this year’s instalment of Game Connection Europe. As noted by Pierre Carde, the founder of Game Connection, providing these special rates as well as other initiatives such as “Selected Projects“, reinforces Game Connection’s commitment to supporting France’s games sector more generally and startups and SMEs in particular.
For this year’s instalment, Game Connection has decided to offer two reduced rate pricing options specifically targeting startups and SMEs, which are as follows:
The “Startup”: Priced at a rate of 350€, this provides access to the exhibition floor, and participation in the conferences during the event, plus a limited access to Game Connection’s Meeting Application, a great tool that you can use to request, plan, and manage up to 5 meetings prior to the show,
The “Découverte (Discovery)”: Priced at a rate of 1250€, this offers everything included in the Startup plus use of a shared exhibitor space and ability to request up to 15 meetings (in lieu of 5) prior to the show via their Meeting Application.
To qualify for these special rates, your company must 1) be focused on the video games sector and 2) have your headquarters based in France. In addition, to qualify for the “Startup” offer your company should have been in existence for fewer than 2 years and should be generating under 100k€ in annual revenues. For the “Découverte” offer, your company should be generating under 300k€/ year and cannot have previously participated in Game Connection.
