FailCon Paris is back again. #MustAttend

Events

You’re gonna say “It’s too late, I’ve already bought my tickets months ago,” but I’m going to tell you anyway – You’ve got to be at Failcon Paris on September 25th. Just like a glass of Orange Juice is good in the morning, Failcon is good for entrepreneurs. We need medicine – a reminder that it’s OK to fail.
After last year’s event – about which I did an article for Silicon Maniacs back in the day – Failcon Paris is back with an allstar lineup of speakers. Whether it’s yet another journalist-turned-entreprenur Pascal “PEG” Emmanual-Gobry talking about his failures (working for Business Insider, perhaps?), or whether it’s JB Rudelle, CEO & co-founder of Criteo who has a great story about how his now monstrous success of a startup went nowhere for years before they righted some wrongs – you’re in for a great time.
In addition, Failcon is a conference where you can speak to the speakers. There’s no speaker’s lounge, no “cool kids” after-party – in fact, the after-party will likely be Start in Paris, occurring just after the event – there’s just opportunities for speakers and guests alike to talk about failure: how to fail well, how to fail fast, and how NOT to fail at the same thing twice.
Co-organizer and event founder Cass Phillipps will be coming all the way out from the Silicon Valley, and, having seen her last year, I can tell you she’ll have you standing on your feet singing with the choir at the end. Last year’s highlights included her running around handing off the microphone to brave French entrepreneurs sharing their failures.
I’ll be at the event, as well, so definitely come say hello if you’re attending. Tickets are just €60 and worth every penny of it. Get them here now, and if you pitch me down below why you really need a 15% discount in order to be persuaded, I might just be able to get you your own private discount.
