BNP-Hackathon-2016

For its second edition, BNP Paribas International Hackathon will be present in 8 cities : San Francisco, London, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw, and Istanbul. Through this unique international program, 4 business lines and 10 entities will be engaged with startups teams to work on unique theme: “Making customer journeys effortless for our customers”.

The Hackathon consists of 4 main stages :

  1. Ideation: 8 interconnected cities during a hackathon weekend where BNP Paribas experts and external experts will work with startups to pre-prototype concrete solutions to answer to the challenges. At the end of the weekend, 18 winners will be selected to access to the Digital Bootcamp – June 17-19, 2016 
  1. Co-working: The winners will nurture their solution with the support of BNP Paribas entities including access to the BNP Paribas international network of mentors and experts – July to November, 2016
  1. Demo Day: After this period of development, all 18 startups teams will join the Demo day in Paris for pitching their solution in front of the BNP Paribas executive committee. 9 winners will be selected – December 2nd 2016
  1. Prototype Implementation: The 9 winners will implement their solution with BNP Paribas to provide real-life solutions to customers. Far-reaching resources, support, and incubation will be proposed to the winners – 2017

Last year, 57 startups from 5 different countries participated to the BNP Pariba’s hackathon. Two French startups have been selected among the 6 final winners: LogMote, an authentification service for enterprise; and Heuritech, a predictive engine to classify data.
