CRM and mobile engagement leader Accengage and part of the Mobile First Alliance Group announced this week that they’ve raised a new $3 million round, primarily funded by SME fund OTC Agregator.
Accengage’s principal service is a SaaS which integrates CRM Mobile functions such as push notifications and in-app notifications, provides functionality for marketer to better identify and target segments, incorporates a geomarketing interface, and connects with other CRM tools like Neolane Adobe , Selligent, and Unica.  ccengage’s technology is already integrated in 570 applications, representing 150 million downloads in 70 countries and each month 300 clients diffuse more than 500 million push notifications. They already count several big names among their clients including Rocket Internet, Disney, Nespresso, KLM, Rakuten, Europcar, BNP Paribas, Danone, Carrefour, Century 21 etc.
The vast majority of the money they raised will go to fuel their international expansion. Already with a strong presence in France and growing businesses in the UK and Japan, their objective is to both cover all the large EU markets, namely Germany, Italy and Spain and establish a presence in emerging markets in South America and South East Asia. Presumably the size of team, which now counts 50 people between Paris, Tokyo and London, will also jump substantially in the coming months.
