Programmatic video ad platform StickyAds has continued its rampant expansion across Europe with the opening this month of their office in Hamburg, Germany which will be led by business development and digital marketing veteran, Marco Dohmen. With offices in France, Italy, Spain and Germany, StickyAds is now well on their way to achieving their goal of taking the dominant position in the European RTB video market, the segment that is seeing the strongest growth, particularly in Europe. In fact according to a recent report by IDC, the market is expect to grow 40% per year, reaching 3.2 billion euros in 2017.
StickyAds is yet another example of the strength of the ad tech ecosystem in France. As we’ve discussed previously, Criteo has been the biggest success story, but certainly not the only one with companies like the recently merged Ebuzzing & Teads, Ezakus, AlephD and, of course, StickyAds, raising impressive levels of funding and expanding rapidly throughout Europe and beyond.
