Rude Baguette has obtained leaked images from French hardware startup WiThings which suggests a new foyer into the world of Wearables. After their connected body scale, connected bed, connected baby monitor & connected blood pressure monitor, WiThings is getting ready to expand beyond fitness into a new space with the “Dandy Series” products.

The first product, seen above, is being called the “Puck,” and is a smart watch like you’ve never seen before. Reminiscent of the WiThings Pulse, mixed with the classic pocket watch, this new SmartWatch comes in both silver & gold (that’s the metal, not the color), and contains a glucose meter, a thermometer, a heart-rate monitor, a speaker and a lifelogging camera – all fit into the comfort of your breast pocket.

The second product in their Dandy Series is going to put Google Glass & the OculuS VR to shame. The “Peek” is an augmented reality monocle, which comes with a microphone, a full-HD projector, a micro-usb plug, and, of course, a swappable lanyard (can you say ‘accessories’?). Unlike the bulky Oculus VR, the Peek is meant to be warn with a cord – and it’s great for when you’re meant to be watching an opera or reading the morning paper, and you want to browse Facebook or XKCD. Google Glass got it right when they decided to only augment one eye, but WiThings has mastered the art by reinventing the original one-eye augmented reality tool – the monocle.

Lastly, for those looking to track their footsteps, but are tired of their bracelet always weighing on their cane-holding arm, the Withings Shaft is going to change the way you measure footsteps. The Chrome-topped wooden cane comes with a revealable 1.5 inch touchscreen, whether you are looking for directions to the opera or trying to remember where you parked the Rolls (joke’s on you, you never park your own car). The Withings Pulse may be light, but the Shaft is a real innovation.

The entire Dandy Series fits seamlessly into your wardrobe – instead of wearing your regular old prescription reading monocle, why not augment it with the Peek? Instead of walking around with your battered old cane, why not track your exercise with the Shaft? And of course, why carry around your grandpa’s pocket watch that he left with your Grandma when we went to fight in WWII – throw that piece of junk away and get the Puck!
