On October 14-15th, EPITA’s accelerator Startup42 will welcome Lean Startup thought leader Ash Maurya as he brings his Running Lean workshop to Paris for the first time. Maurya, a well-known author of the best-selling ‘Running Lean’, strives via his much heralded workshop to give entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and other visionaries practical tools as well as one-on-one coaching to bring their ideas to life and, importantly, build products and services that people want.

The workshop kicks-off first thing on the 14th with a focus on Business Model Generation. The goal of the first day of the workshop is not simply to give participants a solid overview of the Lean methodology, but perhaps more importantly, to get them working on defining their true product – their business model. This element offers a valuable learning for many aspiring entrepreneurs who are too often advised to develop first and sort out the business model at a later stage. The second day will focus on a the essential step of Business Model Validation. This part of the process arms participants with the tools needed to define their success metrics and craft effective experiments that maximize for speed, learning, and focus (about their product/service).

As the Lean approach can also be highly valuable for various players in the tech startup world, including incubators, angels, etc, the workshop is open to all who are looking to develop or inspire others to develop repeatable and scalable businesses. In addition to getting a lot of one-on-one coaching from Maurya over the two-days, participants will also takeaway several bonus items which will help them as they continue to build and scale their businesses.

If you’d like to be a part of the workshop, startup and corporate early bird rates are still available through September 30th here.  We also have one free ticket to give away, so if you’d like to win it, like this article on our Facebook page.
