Startup Safary turns to crowdfunding for its mega Berlin startup event on September 6th


Startup Safary, founded in 2012 and based in Krakow and Cologne, is focused entirely on delivering startup immersive experiences for those passionate about burgeoning tech ecosystems across Europe. Thus far, they’ve made a name for themselves through their Startup Safary Office Tours whereby groups of about 20 participants visit about 4 startups for Q&A sessions with founders and their teams. Many of their tours thus far have centered on Berlin and Krakow (you can check out videos of their tours here) but they have big plans to expand their tours elsewhere in Europe. They also offer opportunities for startupers to expand their networks through their Safary Dinners where founders, executives and investors have each dinner course at a different restaurant, giving them the opportunity to meet and network with as many people as possible.

But their biggest and most ambitious event, Startup Safary Berlin, is set to kick-off on September 6th (8h through midnight). Essentially, they will organize a massive startup open house in Berlin, with more than 100 startups opening their doors for participants. There will also be numerous other events going on as well, including workshops, meetups and parties. It will ultimately be up to participants to choose from the more than the 100 events on offer and determine how they want to structure their time on the day.

As the organizers want to make sure as many startupers from all across Europe can participate as possible, their aim is to stick with an incredibly affordable price of 10€ for the day. To deliver on this promise and make sure they have adequate resources pull-off a high quality, mega event such as this, they launched a crowdfunding campaign which will come to a close this week.
