Greenbureau raises €800K to consolidate online bills

Paris startup Greenbureau (“Green Desk”) has raised €800,000 from 3T Capital & Omnes Capital to help large companies reduce paper use by transitioning to digital billing, invoicing, and account management through their web interface. Currently only available in France, Greenbureau, founded by Mathieu Delobelle, Frédéric Dermer, Yan Tamalet and Florian Nicourt, allows users to manage all of their regular bills – telecom giants Orange, NumericableSFR, Bouygues Telecom and Free are all on board, along with France’s unemployment bureau Pole Emploi (or as entrepreneurs call it, France’s biggest startup investor) – in total, Greenbureau already has 80 suppliers who feed their bills to clients through Greenbureau.
Greenbureau said in their announcement that they will use the seed funding to continue to grow their offer, as well as solidify their position as the go-to source for companies looking to ween off their dependency on paper. In addition to being a B2C application allowing internet users in France to consolidate their electronic bills, Greenbureau also works directly with companies, saving them millions of euros in the long term by helping them digitalize their billing process.

I’d like to see Greenbureau grow outside of France, because there really isn’t a company that has solved the ‘multiple electronic bills’ problem. Obviously there is plenty of work for them to do in France, and a very large market of people eager to consolidate electronic billing – I’m sure they see the international value as well.
