UPDATE: In the original version of this article, he stated that Tikhon was a part-time partner at YC; while he has been funded twice by YC, we have been told that he has never worked for YC, and have updated the article accordingly.

Paris accelerator TheFamily will welcome Tikhom Bernstam, founder of Scribd & Parse (sold to Facebook) and YC Alumn on July 16th. The event, in association with Startup42 and Epitech, is free for all members of TheFamily, costs €20 from now until July 5th – attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and get feedback in an open office hours style manner during the event.

TheFamily, which has already welcomed more than 25 startups into its 1% virtual accelerator, also recently welcomed former Y Combinator member Audrey Kim, who is clearly playing her role in bringing out great talent. The event is a great opportunity to get to know TheFamily – I’ve been dropping in occasionally on some of their evening events, as well as co-organizing some with them, and it’s definitely something for founders to check out. I’m already hearing whispers of fundraisings and acquisition offers of their startups.
