Jean-Marc Plueger, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/tag\/Yasound\/\">Yasound<\/a>, an online music startup, was &#8216;found dead&#8217; earlier this week. At just 46 years old, the details are still unclear as to how he passed away, but Yasound\u00a0has set up a radio station hommage where friends, family, and fans of Yasound can leave comments and listen to a hand-picked music selection.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">One of the Kima Startups CEO was found dead yesterday\u2026 R.I.P. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Jeremie Berrebi (@jberrebi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jberrebi\/status\/278871038480220161?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">December 12, 2012<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nThe news first broke yesterday evening, when KIMA Ventures&#8217;s Jeremie Berrebi tweeted an ambiguous &#8220;One of the Kima Startups CEO was found dead yesterday\u2026 R.I.P&#8221; Hours later, after Yasound posted about their hommage to their deceased CEO (seen below), Berrebi tweeted again, mentioning Pleuger by name.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"fr\" dir=\"ltr\">Notre CEO, Jean-Marc Plueger, nous a quitt\u00e9 lundi soir. Editor of ReadWriteWeb France Fabrice Ebelboin <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/epelboin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cited<\/a> the &#8220;<em>j&#8217;ai vecu de\u00a0<\/em><em>belles aventures [avec Pleuger],&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0while<em>\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tedesign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marc Brandsma<\/a> spoke of him kindly, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tedesign\/status\/279273862208823297\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">saying<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;he was really passionate about his ventures, that&#8217;s a loss for the community.&#8221;<br \/>\nOne of the few serial web entrepreneurs in France, Jean-Marc Pleuger was previously the CEO of Jiwa, which he closed in 2010 after 4 years of offering free music to users in France. In 2000 he was the PDG of Prizzo, which sold airline tickets online &#8211; the company had \u20ac1,000,000 in capital when it opened, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.societe.com\/societe\/prizzo-com-432546547.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Societe.com<\/a>.<br \/>\nI had the unfortunate displeasure not to meet Jean-Marc Plueger just last month. I had been introduced by email and was set to meet him at the Soir\u00e9e Yasound, where the company announced a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/tag\/Deezer\/\">Deezer<\/a>.
