Bringing together executives from startups, innovation leaders in big companies, as well as thought leaders in France, WebDeuxConnect is back again this year. The conference will touch on several themes particularly pertinent to France. such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/category\/p2p\/\">collaborative consumption (p2p)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/category\/cloud\/\">Cloud Computing<\/a>\u00a0&amp; User Experience.<br \/>\nAmong the speakers lined up to represent their themes, they&#8217;ve got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/tag\/Airbnb\/\">Airbnb<\/a> France DG\u00a0Olivier Gremillon likely discussing\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/category\/p2p\/\">collaborative consumption<\/a>\u00a0and the world of P2P market places, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/tag\/Uber\/\">Uber<\/a> France Director Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/tag\/Joliebox\">Joliebox<\/a> CEO Quentin Vacher. I imagine he&#8217;ll touch a bit on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2012\/09\/14\/joliebox-acquired-by-birchbox\/\">recent acquisition by Birchbox<\/a>.<br \/>\nIn addition to the stand web topics, this year&#8217;s event will also feature a session on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neuromarketing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neuromarketing<\/a>,\u00a0a new field of marketing research that studies consumers&#8217; sensorimotor, cognitive, and affective response to marketing stimuli. The session will be led by two French experts in the area, and is a\u00a0sensitive\u00a0subject in France, as it is currently forbidden to do Neuromarketing in France.<br \/>\nEach attendee will also receive a gift bag from the event who&#8217;s contents currently total over 4800\u20ac euros in value.<br \/>\nI attended the event last year, and it was pretty interesting. While the venue made it difficult to network (they&#8217;ve changed the venue this year), the speakers were certainly interesting. I recall a representative from Peugeot speaking about how they&#8217;ve applied Lean Manufacturing methods to their practice &#8211; this sounded pretty amazing, until <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/tag\/Peugeot\">Peugeot<\/a> announced it would be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2012\/07\/12\/peugeot-cuts-8k-jobs-not-so-lean\/\">cutting 8,000 jobs in France due to dipping profits<\/a>.
