\nGame Connection has just announced<\/a> that, for the first time, they will offer<\/strong> French\u00a0startups reduced rate pricing<\/strong>\u00a0for this year’s instalment of Game Connection\u00a0Europe. \u00a0As noted by Pierre Carde, the founder of Game Connection, providing these special rates as well as other initiatives such as “Selected Projects<\/a>“, reinforces Game\u00a0Connection’s commitment to supporting France’s games sector more generally and startups and SMEs in particular.
\nFor this year’s instalment, Game Connection has decided to offer two reduced rate\u00a0pricing options specifically targeting startups and SMEs, which are as follows:
\nThe “Startup”:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Priced at a rate of 350\u20ac, this provides access to the exhibition\u00a0floor<\/strong>, and participation in the\u00a0conferences<\/strong> during the event, plus a limited access\u00a0to Game Connection’s Meeting Application<\/strong>, a great tool that you can use\u00a0to\u00a0request, plan, and manage up to 5 meetings<\/strong>\u00a0prior to the show,
\nThe “D\u00e9couverte (Discovery)”:<\/strong> \u00a0Priced at a rate of 1250\u20ac, this offers everything included in the Startup\u00a0plus\u00a0use of a shared exhibitor space<\/strong>\u00a0and ability\u00a0to\u00a0request up to 15 meetings<\/strong>\u00a0(in lieu of 5) prior to the show via their Meeting Application.
\nTo qualify for these special rates, your company must 1) be focused on the video games\u00a0sector and 2) \u00a0have your headquarters based in France.\u00a0\u00a0In\u00a0addition<\/em><\/span>, to qualify for\u00a0the “Startup” offer your company should have been in existence for fewer than 2 years and should be generating under 100k\u20ac in annual revenues. \u00a0For the “D\u00e9couverte” offer,\u00a0your company should be generating under 300k\u20ac\/ year and\u00a0cannot have previously\u00a0participated in Game Connection.
