The news comes as a sigh of relief to the startup community, who had been waiting for over a year to see new life pumped into the French VC firm founded in 2008. Its previous investments include app-enabled device creator <a title=\"LeWeb Paris theme is a great chance to showcase French startups\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2012\/09\/13\/leweb-paris-theme-is-a-great-chance-to-showcase-french-startups\/\">Withings<\/a>, as well as LinkedIn rival <a title=\"Viadeo has now raised over $50 Million; They Still Aren\u2019t Linkedin\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2012\/04\/13\/viadeo\/\">Viadeo<\/a>, though, according to the news section of the firm&#8217;s site, it&#8217;s last investment was made in May of 2011, in China, where it operates a branch of its fund.<br \/>\nWith investments between \u20ac1-8M, generally during the growth stage of a startup, Ventech is often seen in Series A &amp; Series B rounds.
