Both services allow small and medium businesses to use crowdfunding to borrow money for projects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lendix.com\/lendix-annonce-lacquisition-de-finsquare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In a press release<\/a>, Lendix executives said the two companies offer complimentary services, as Finsquare focuses on more short-term loans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Finsquare] fits perfectly with our current offering, which is focused on longer term loans and financial leases,&#8221; said\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/oliviergoy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oliver Goy<\/a>, Lendix founder and chief executive, <a href=\"https:\/\/lendix.com\/lendix-annonce-lacquisition-de-finsquare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a statement<\/a>. &#8220;It\u2019s a logical expansion of our range of financing solutions for SMEs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lendix did not disclose the amount it paid for Finsquare. Last June, Finsquare <a href=\"http:\/\/incubateurs.parisandco.com\/La-plateforme-de-crowdlending-Finsquare-leve-1,5-million-d-euros\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raised \u20ac1.5 million<\/a> from VC firms Aviva France, Edenred Capital Partners, and Virtual Network.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2016\/04\/14\/lendix-wants-to-let-small-and-medium-businesses-tap-into-the-p2p-lending-revolution\/\">In an interview with Rude Baguette<\/a> earlier this week, Goy said Lendix has seen rapid growth over the past year as more businesses look for alternative means of financing.
