In the last couple years, Techstars&#8217; expansion strategy has taken a interesting turn as they&#8217;ve partnered with corporates to build out several vertical accelerators around areas such as entertainment (Disney), mobility (Ford, Magna, and Verizon), Robotics (Qualcomm), Fintech (Barclays), Sports (Nike), etc.\u00a0They&#8217;ve expanded into hospitality and food tech with the launch of their Berlin-baesed\u00a0Techstars METRO accelerator which they&#8217;ve launched in conjunction with wholesaler and retailer giant METRO and digital agency R\/GA.<br \/>\nThe program kicks off in Berlin in October and offers intensive mentoring and unprecedented access to the resources of one of the world&#8217;s largest hospitality and retail companies.
