\nJust a year after their launch, Sevenhugs<\/a> have just announced closing a \u20ac<\/span>1.5 million seed round with several investors, including\u00a0CapDecisif Management with the FRCI<\/a>, NovX Capital (investment arm of the Noveo group), Kima Ventures, and business angels networks\u00a0BADGE (Business Angels des Grandes Ecoles), Femmes Business Angels (FBA), and Investessor.
\nSevenhugs is yet another example of France’s strength in the connected objects space. \u00a0They focus on offering connected devices that improve well-being of the entire family. Their first device launch is the hugOne which\u00a0family sleep better and monitors temperature, humidity and air quality for a healthier home. \u00a0They successfully unveiled hugOne for the time at this year’s\u00a0CES.
\nCo-founders\u00a0Simon Tchedikian, St\u00e9phane Jaubertou, Lionel Marty and Olivier Mandine, have extensive experience in the electronics and device space, with 60 years experience between them. They have ambitious plans for their first round of funding with plans to expand their product range and double their team to 20, a recruiting effort which they kicked-off last weekend at our Paris Startup Job Fair<\/a>.
