As with much of the Internet, US Education has benefited largely from the Internet in solidifying its global brand &#8211; at least, the top engineering schools &#8211; however, France&#8217;s top engineering school, Polytechnique, just announced a partnership with OpenClassrooms, bringing the class &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/openclassrooms.com\/courses\/decode-the-entrepreneur-s-dna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Decode the Entrepreneur&#8217;s DNA<\/a>&#8221;\u00a0to the platform.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe class, offered in English, represents a big push, both for MOOCs in France, and Educational institutions, into a more modern approach to education, bridging the gap between students around the world and France&#8217;s top-tier educators.<br \/>\n<iframe title=\"EN_2709621_CRS_decode-the-entrepreneur-s-dna_0-0_0-0_TLK\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/118687680?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"801\" height=\"451\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThis, however, isn&#8217;t the first MOOC\u00a0for Polytechnique &#8211;\u00a0the university is also teaming up with HEC, which has a<a title=\"10 Successful Web Startups founded by HEC Alumni\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2013\/05\/08\/10-successful-web-startups-founded-by-hec-alumni\/\"> globally-leading MBA<\/a>, to produce a course (in French): &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polytechnique.edu\/fr\/content\/mooc-x-hec-creer-une-start-technologique\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Create a Tech Startup<\/a>.&#8221;<br \/>\nFrance&#8217;s education system has many advantages &#8211; students learn more per year in terms of pure knowledge than in Anglosaxon systems, their degrees go deeper than their equivalents, and their early focus by subject\u00a0starting as early as high school means that students are exposed early to Math, Science &amp; Business &#8211; if they choose this route.<br \/>\nBringing this education system online, and in English &#8211; not\u00a0surprising, as many of France&#8217;s top universities teach in English &#8211; will provide\u00a0the rest of the world a foyer into the French approach.<br \/>\nHere in the French tech scene, I often say &#8220;Take a Polytechnique student and put him in Stanford for a year abroad, and you&#8217;ll have a\u00a0solid tech entrepreneur that will make your money back every time.&#8221;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past 5 years, we&#8217;ve all grown accustomed to watching MIT, Stanford, Harvard &amp; other top universities deliver entire classes online.
