According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2015-01-07\/smart-shirt-inventor-seeks-120-million-sports-deals-in-vegas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg<\/a>, the startup, which specializes in smart fabrics, signed a deal with clothing company Asics in 2014, licensing their in-seam sensor technology and software platform to the clothing maker in order for them to develop &#8220;D-Shirts&#8221;, as Errant calls them (the &#8220;D&#8221; is for Digital, referring to the technology inside them).<br \/>\nThe startup, of course, still needs to convert investor interest into a definitive\u00a0investment, and they&#8217;ll have to do that with competitors like OMSignal creeping up on them. The Canadian\u00a0startup proudly announced a partnership with Ralph Lauren <a href=\"https:\/\/gigaom.com\/2014\/08\/22\/ralph-lauren-taps-omsignal-for-sleek-connected-shirts-at-the-u-s-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bringing its own smart shirt technology to the US Open last August<\/a>.<br \/>\nStill, Cityzen has got a lot of advantages going for them.
