He also used to run Sweden&#8217;s Modern Times Group, a multi-asset media company covering <span style=\"color: #3e433e;\">TV, Radio, Publishing, Production and New Media. This experience will likely be extremely useful given Deezer recent shift towards alternative forms of music content delivery as evidence by their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/2014\/10\/27\/deezer-acquires-top-talk-entertainment-app-stitcher\/\">acquisition of radio and podcast startup Stitcher<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-27778 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/assets\/albrecht-e1418938866395.jpg\" alt=\"albrecht\" width=\"250\" height=\"166\" \/>In speaking about the acquisition, Albrecht said:<\/p>\n<p><em>This is a company that has already built a substantial user base of 16 million people [monthly active users] in more than 180 countries. It has come a long way already and become a thriving, pioneering company that is helping to redefine the way we all discover and enjoy music.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the big CEO news, Deezer also announced the launch of a new lyrics feature which allows users to r<span style=\"color: #4e5860;\">ead the lyrics along with songs as they listen. The new feature has been launched in conjunction with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lyricfind.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LyricFind<\/a> and is available on both their free and premium services.
