The accelerator, dubbed\u00a0Amaury Lab was developed in conjunction with the Paris region and has a double objective: \u00a0first to accelerate fast-growing startups and facilitate collaboration and opportunities for co-development between\u00a0these start-ups and\u00a0Amaury. \u00a0Each intake class will have a theme, with the first being &#8220;Connected Information&#8221;, oriented around three main subjects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Big Data: e.g. algos &amp; recommendation engines which enable monetization of content<\/li>\n<li>Digital Experience: \u00a0e.g. creating new user experiences which drive better audience engagement around ideas (such as gamification, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Connected Objects: \u00a0e.g. new content adapted to the connected ecosystem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any startup less\u00a0five years old that is innovating products and services around the theme of &#8220;Connected Information&#8221; can apply. Selected startups will be incubated within their program for 12 months and will receive &#8216;standard perks&#8217; offered by incubators\/accelerators (i.e. office space, mentor advice, advice around access to funding and business operations, training, etc). \u00a0As Amaury Lab is a joint-venture with the Paris Region, start-ups may also have access to\u00a0<span style=\"color: #555555;\">Paris Innovation Amor\u00e7age financing (an initiative of Paris and BPIFrance) which provides a grant up to\u00a030K\u20ac plus\u00a0a\u00a0loan 100K\u20ac or 500K\u20ac (depending on stage of development of the company) at 0% interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should apply <a href=\"http:\/\/pic.agorize.com\/fr\/challenges\/amaury-lab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> by 8 January.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555;\"> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amaury, known for their news publications such as L&#8217;Equipe and Le Parisien, just launched the first accelerator in France dedicated to the press industry.
