Earlier this month,\u00a0TechStars announced the\u00a0Techstars Boston Fall 2014 class<\/a>, which included among the dozen startups the Paris-based\u00a0Streamroot<\/a>,\u00a0a\u00a0native peer-to-peer video streaming technology startup.\u00a0Streamroot’s founders\u00a0participated in the 5th seasons of LeCamping at the end of last\u00a0year<\/a>, the last season before NUMA will being taking equity stakes in its startups.<\/p>\n

Between now & November 12th, Streamroot will run a gauntlet of feedback, product & customer development, and, if all goes well, fundraising meetings; however, they\u00a0have a long line of LeCamping predecessors who have participated in TechStars before them, who will be able to guide them through the process:<\/p>\n

Doctrackr<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(LeCamping Season 1), a security startup which pitched itself as the real-life incarnation of Mission Impossible’s self-destructing messages,\u00a0participated in TechStars Boston in Winter 2012<\/a>\u00a0– the company relocated to Massachusetts after raising money following Techstars, and subsequently was\u00a0acquired by Intralinks last year<\/a>. DocTrackr was Following Doctrackr,<\/p>\n

qunb<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(LeCamping Season 2) was accepted into TechStars Boston, as they fought to position themselves as the YouTube for data. The company later went on to win the LeWeb Startup Competition, after which they pivoted to\u00a0one-click data visualization<\/a>, focusing first on Google Analytics data and telling a story with your data.<\/p>\n

Later in 2013,\u00a0Sketchfab<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(LeCamping Season 3)\u00a0was accepted into TechStars NYC after raising an\u00a0angel round<\/a>. They’ve since seen explosive growth,\u00a0raised a venture round<\/a>,\u00a0integrated with Photoshop<\/a>, Kickstarter & more, and have positioned themselves within the 3D imaging space.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year,\u00a0Infinit<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(LeCamping Season 2) was accepted into TechStars NYC. The company\u00a0raised $500K<\/a>\u00a0in 2013, and \u20ac1.3 Million earlier this year, and looks to change peer-to-peer file-sharing as we know it.<\/p>\n

Outside of LeCamping, French startups\u00a0Psykosoft<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Hull.io<\/a>\u00a0have also participated in TechStars, making France one of the most represented countries behind the US & UK.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
