Oree Design, a startup which has made a name for itself by creating wood-based technology products, is launching a KickStarter campaign<\/a> for its latest product, the Or\u00e9e Pebble 2 – a wooden wireless charger. In addition to their wireless keyboard<\/a>\u00a0& wireless wooden touchpad, Or\u00e9e previously released a Marble wireless charger, the Or\u00e9e Pebble<\/a>, and the Or\u00e9e Pebble 2 is a nice evolution of the Pebble.<\/p>\n %CODEOREEKICK%<\/p>\n Pebble 2 offers wireless charging (on iOS devices and compatible chargers, via the Qi wireless charging standard), and also allows for hands-free phone call answering (by touching the block). The Pebble 2 also serves as a bluetooth speaker, playing music from your smartphone.<\/p>\n https:\/\/twitter.com\/LiamBoogar\/status\/466509015460372480<\/p>\n Or\u00e9e design has always embodied the intersection of technology, design, and nature (namely, wood), and, as seen in their video above, the Pebble 2 fits in very well with their other wood products. Or\u00e9e design builds everything in-house – their keyboard is made from one solid piece of wood – and has been very successful so far. Their Kickstarter Campaign will allow them to validate interest in the product, as well as make a bit of noise about their entire line of products.
