{"id":24678,"date":"2014-04-23T11:12:47","date_gmt":"2014-04-23T09:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/?p=24678"},"modified":"2019-04-30T17:28:10","modified_gmt":"2019-04-30T15:28:10","slug":"withings-launches-pulse-o2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/en\/2014\/04\/withings-launches-pulse-o2\/","title":{"rendered":"Withings launches Pulse 02 &#038; adds Blood-Oxygen tracking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"unnamed (1)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudebaguette.com\/assets\/unnamed-1.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"332\" \/>Withings announced the launch of their new latest activity tracker,\u00a0Pulse O<sub>2<\/sub>, an overhauled version of their first activity tracker, which they launched last year.<\/p>\n<p>Like the Withings Pulse, the Pulse O<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0tracks your sleep, your movement, and your heart rate; however, the new Pulse O<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0also tracks your blood-oxygen using <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oxygen_saturation_in_medicine#Medical_significance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oximetry<\/a>, i.e: estimating the level by shinging a light on your finger at a close distance.<\/p>\n<p>For Withings, this marks a continued investment in the Connected Fitness space.
