With a dedicated customer service, a state of the art web and mobile platform, and a fast-growing community of users, BlaBlaCar is making travel social, money-saving and more efficient for millions of members across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>BlaBlaCar counts 115 employees in Europe including\u00a075 at the HQ in Paris, 1\/3rd at the Technical team, 1\/3rd at the communications and marketing team and 1\/3rd at the customer service team and administration.<\/p>\n<p>BlaBlaCar\u2019s main motto (and they have a lot, they are all written on giants posters hanging on the wall of their HQ) is \u201cShare more, learn more\u201d, which says a lot about their love for teamwork.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fr.linkedin.com\/in\/laurewagner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laure Wagner<\/a>, Communication Manager, tells us more about how is it to work for BlaBlaCar.<\/p>\n<p><b>What do you do for your team\u2019s well-being?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We are in favor of happiness and good communication among the team. We organise an internal party every 6 weeks, each time our european colleague visit us to synchronize.\u00a0We hate and avoid long meeting without agenda and goal!<\/p>\n<p><b>What is awaiting your new recruits?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>When we have a new colleague he is welcomed with :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a complete tour of the team with his\/her mentor<\/li>\n<li>an article on the internal blog called &#8220;BlaBla Share&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>a lunch with the other new employees and their mentors<\/li>\n<li>a welcome speech during the next BlaBla Talk with the whole team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What kind of HR policies do you implement?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>BlaBlaCar is a uge fan of \u201c<strong>Scrum management<\/strong>\u201d. Scrum is \u201can\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/searchsoftwarequality.techtarget.com\/definition\/agile-software-development\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">agile software development<\/a>\u00a0model based on multiple small teams working in an intensive and interdependent manner. Scrum employs real-time decision-making processes based on actual events and information. This requires well-trained and specialized teams capable of self-management, communication and decision-making.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apart from that, each week, we organize our \u201c<strong>BlaBlaTalk<\/strong>\u201d. All employees in HQ are gathered and employees abroad are participating on conference-call to listen to a team that explains what they achieved in the last 6 weeks and what they plan for the next 6 weeks. Every two months, the founders are taking the opportunity to make special announcements such as fundraising of key figures. All talks are followed by Q&amp;A.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, ever since we opened our offices in Europe, each employee has the opportunity to go work in one of our offices abroad for a week during the year: it&#8217;s called &#8220;<strong>BlaBlaSwap<\/strong>&#8220;.
