#ParisFounders is just around the corner (April 29th), and tickets are selling so fast we’ve had to change venues, from Palais Brongniart to Dauphine. We’ve only got 800 tickets available this time, more than double what we were able to fit this time last year, when we were hosted by Google France – we had 150 people on the wait list for our April 2014 edition.
I’ve already begun skimming through candidates to launch on stage – Apple Watch apps, hardware & software – we should be in for a great show. In the past, we’ve had the pleasure of demo-ing products like Front (Y-Combinator 2014), Phonotonic (CES 2015), Prynt (CES 2015, Kickstarter 2015), Aircall, Glose & many more, and we’re happy to see our alumni from last year raising money & growing up.
Our Speaker line-up is, across the board, representative of a lot of what’s been going on since the beginning of this year. We’ll hear from Devialet CEO Quentin Sennié about CES in Las Vegas, MWC in Barcelona, and the Phantom speaker that’s been blowing everyone’s ears away.
We’ll talk with Happn founder Didier Rappaport about his fundraising, as well as his trip to Menlo Park last month to attend F8, Facebook’s Developer Conference.
We’ll speak with Anaxago co-founder Caroline Lamaud about her platform turning 3 years old, and how perceptions of crowdfunding for equity have changed in the past 3 years.
We’ll talk with Ogury co-founder Thomas Pasquest about his AdTech startup, which is composed of veterans from Criteo, eBuzzing/Teads, StickyAds & more, and their goal of bringing full-fledged mobile advertising to the market.
And lastly we’ll talk with Marie Ekeland, one of Paris’ most prominent investors and influent member of the Paris Startup Scene. In addition to co-founding France Digitale to lobby the government on behalf of startups & VCs, Ekeland is on the board of Criteo (where she was a seed investor during her time at Elaia Partners), on the board of Parrot, and, after announcing her departure from Elaia nearly one year ago, she’ll be talking about her brand new VC Firm: Daphni.
I don’t want to give all the fun away – we may have a few more speakers up our sleeve as well.
Paris Founders Event couldn’t be possible without our amazing partners – Orange Fab, BNP Paribas, Github, Slimpay & so many more! We look forward to seeing you on April 29th for France’s largest startup networking event!
