Paris’ Fashion week gets underway next week and for the first time, NUMA in conjunction with Parsons Paris, Fashion Technology Lab and Fashion Capital Partners, will host the 1st Fashion & Tech week 22 – 28 September to explore the impact of new technologies on the fashion industry. More than 70 hours of events have been organized to conceptualize and co-create tomorrow’s fashion trends. From accessories to e-textiles to 3D, the week-long program will address questions such as: what are the next innovation opportunities in the sector? what shape will be the next evolutions take? how can the use of technology in the fashion world be increased, and by doing so enable new forms of creation to scale up?  and more…
The multi-day event will include conferences, meet-ups, tailored talks, a fashion tech hackathon, fashion tech Startup Weekend, a Global Fashion & Tech Battle sponsored by Google for Entrepreneurs, and, even, a digital art performance.  NUMA’s 1st fashion & tech week will also put the spotlight on startups and others, such Netatmo, I am la mode, Vestiare Collective, Misfit Wearables, ICONITY and Pinterest, who are merging the worlds of fashion and tech.  As it’s Fashion Week, of course designers will be a big part of the mix as well, with rising designers like  Elisabeth de Senneville, Starkweather and more will also be on display.

If you’re fashion tech startup, working in fashion or just have a passion for fashion and fashion tech, you can register to attend one or more of the events here.
