London Calling -flag

In celebration of their 140th anniversary, the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce is organizing a day-long themed visit to London on October 1st which will aim to provide businesses and potential investors practical advice on how to set up their businesses or invest in London & the UK as well as offer insights on how London has been achieving rapid growth of its digital economy. As the UK is often the first market many startups look to when going international, this event offers a great way to quickly hop across the channel, get any burning questions you have answered by UK-based experts and build your network with London’s business and rapidly growing tech communities.

Once participants arrive in London, the day will kick-off with a round-table focusing on how to develop your business in the UK. Topics will cover such key topics as the practical aspects of setting up a physical presence in London, legal and accounting issues, and strategies for developing your business across the channel. Following the morning session, lunch and networking, participants will get a guided tour of London’s TechCity. This part of the day also gives participants the opportunity to expand their network there and check-out an area where many startups expanding into the UK will logically set-up shop.

As the organizers want to make sure that the trip is accessible to as many business owners as possible the price, which includes the Eurostar ticket, is a very reasonable €215.28. If you want to join, you can sign-up here.

The organizers have also kindly offered us one free ticket (again, including travel) to pass along to our readers, so if you’d like to win it, just like this article on our Facebook page.
