Next week, the Paris startup scene will have the wonderful opportunity to welcome Techstars cofounder, serial entrepreneur, and startup geek David Cohen. The event will take place on September 27th, and tickets are currently free and open to the public. David will likely be talking to startups throughout the evening, so this is a great opportunity for startups interested in learning more about the Techstars program to talk with David about it and perhaps even get him behind your application.

In the past year, two French startups, Psykopaint and Doctrackr, have participated in the Techstars program, specifically Techstars’ Boston program. Both startups, upon completing the program, raised funds, and I imagine learned a lot about building their startups and gained some invaluable mentors.

Taking a Chance..

I met David Cohen this past March when I was out in San Francisco for Jason Calicanis’ LAUNCH conference, and in addition to talking with him about building ecosystems, I asked him about his interest in coming out to Paris. I am happy to see that after a few months of planning, David will finally be making his trip out to Paris, and I hope to see some extraordinary startups there talking to David. Let’s show him what Paris is made of!
