Today we’re launching the Rude Job Board on the Rude Baguette. We have been receiving WAY too many emails saying “which startups are hiring,” and we had too many startups asking us to write articles about them, so we decided we would just let the startups tell you themselves. While there may be other job boards out there, like RemixJobs & @RubyJobsFR, we found that there was no place that we could redirect our international audience to find out about what companies were hiring – so we thought, let’s do it ourselves.
So now, in addition to getting all your French startup news in English, finding out about all the best startup events in France & Europe in English, you can now see what startups are hiring – in English!
What is the purpose of the Rude Job Board?
Like I said above, the purpose of the job board is to allow French startups to reach a global audience when hiring. I know a fair amount of startupers abroad who would love any excuse to come live in Paris and work in the startup scene. On our job board, we make it very clear who the company hiring is, what they’re looking for, and whether they will sponsor a VISA or not (I think that last part is pretty important, don’t you?).
How does it work?
For the moment, we’re only allowing startups themselves to put jobs up (sorry UrbanLinker, you’ll have to wait a bit to flood OUR job board), and we’re only allowing CDIs and CDDs to be posted – we’re leaving off internships (stages) you are legally required to be a student in France in order to do an internship in France, and we don’t want to neglect our friends abroad.
We’ve asked two of our favorite startups, Comuto (Co-Voituage, BlaBlaCar, etc.) and Kwaga, to show us how it’s done for the launch, but we’d love to get more & more startups putting job posts up on the site, so we can attract the best GLOBAL talent to Paris – I mean, after all, It’s Paris.
So don’t waste another minute: spread the word, go get hired, or start looking for the best global talent today!
